The hate is spreading

Keyshia Cole is known for a lot of things...and unfortunately its not for being an A list celebrity. Her recent album Women to Women is flopping, her live vocals have been horrible since...the start of her career and the only reason people still know her name is because she has a phine ass husband who plays in the NBA.

But to her credit she does know how to keep attention on herself...start twitter wars.

Her latest beef is with none other then the Queen.

Beyoncé put out her teaser single "Bow Down" and yes the queen talked real slick out the mouth telling bitches to "Bow Down".

I guess Keyshia felt she was being talked about and had her moment on twitter.

So after these things were said the infamous Beyhive took to the air to sting. And Sting they did. For 48 hours str8 they crucified Keyshia Cole calling her everything but a child of God

Side Effects of You

Fantasia isn't playing right now. She is hitting the award shows like crazy promoting her upcoming album "Side Effects of You" which will drop April 23. In recent shows and photo shoots Fantasia looks like she is back to the weight she was at when she won American Idol and without anymore crazy Instagram rants or twitter rants she should be able to sell some albums. 

 

We love Fantasia's voice and need some soulful R&B back in the music scene so go head Fantasia and work it out.

20/20 Experience

Right now Justin Timberlake is sitting on top of the world. Last week his new album "The 20/20 Experience" killed the charts by hitting number 1 with 980,000 copies sold. This week he has sold an additional 300,000 plus copies which will earn him another week at number one beating out Lil Wayne.

Most industry execs figured he would sale a little over 500,000 copies his first week out but nobody could've predicted the 980,000 plus debut. With him working the award show scene, SNL, and his promotion of his tour with Jay Z he very well may have the number 1 spot again next week. The year of JT is in effect.

Eve getting set

Earlier this week Eve released her album artwork to the fans and it's a very glamorous shot.  The question everyone is asking themselves is will she be able to fully comeback.

Eve has been out of the rap spotlight for a long time and what was hot when she was hot is no longer hot thanks to acts like Nicki Minaj.  Yes the fans of hip hop want that old thing back but for this new generation who have fallen in love with "Pop Rap" will Eve be able to contend. Will just have to wait and see.

Lip Lock will hit stores in May.

SMH (Shaking My Head)

Just when you thought you had her licked...she always does something to knock dat ass back into submission.

The cries of "Where the single?" has not been answered however the Beyhive now has something to work with.  With the "Mrs Carter Show" tour about to start in a month and rumored album of the same name dropping soon after fans and industry execs a like have been wondering where is the lead single for this campaign.

Today Beyoncé gave us a little glimpse into what the album may sound like and I must say I'm excited. The song "Bow Down" I Been on was dropped and no it's not single worthy at all but it sounds like a good album intro track. In the teaser track she is real gritty with line such as "I took a little time to live my life, I'm not just his little wife." "When you was a little girl you dreamt of being in my world".

Damn B is it like that lol.

Social media is a buzz. Bow Down became a top trending topic on twitter in less then 10 mins and this is what the hive has needed. The countless jabs by the Navy fans and the Lambchops people were getting restless. If this is sort of the direction the album is going in I can't wait. I'm not going to get too too excited yet but this lets us know that shots have been fired.

Tamar is Expecting

Well this fully explains why the album was pushed back. This morning via instagram Tamar and Vincent announced that they are expecting there first child.





Congratulations are in order. I found it so crazy how she had all this great press and great buzz over her music that she would push the album back to an April release right when the Queen will be dropping her album. With the third season of Braxton Family Values starting tomorrow and now her pregnancy...I doubt we will get this album before September...even if then. Much Blessings to them both and I hope she has a healthy, beautiful baby.

Poor Ms Keri

Keri Hilson just can't catch a break when it comes to Social Media

We all know the original attacks she suffered due to the infamous (Turnin Me On) lyrics. Then the attacks she suffered due to the "Pretty Girl Rock" video but she's been rather quiet since but the stans of other fan bases continue to make social media a living hell for her.

It's to the point now where anything she posts on twitter becomes an all day long affair of people being ugly towards her. Most recently she posted "Miss me with the drama" and she was attacked for the whole day. This caused her to post the following...

 

 

 

 

 

This has turned into online bullying and it's not right. She hasn't had any music out now in almost four years...it's time to just let her be. If I was in her shoes I would just leave twitter...it's not worth getting hate tweets and hate DM's all day. Words most def can bring you down and to continue fighting for artists who themselves wouldn't condone this behavior is childish and Juvenal.

Remember that girl group Cherish....they back.

I was cool with them but I wasn't a huge fan. When they broke apart I wasn't surprised, many girl groups don't last more then two albums. They have reformed now and are trying to bring some heat to the R&B world that is approaching death.

Trey Songz...Over it

The fans are in a frenzy over the new Trey Songz video that will be released on Monday. His new video for "Fumble" reminds me a lot of his video for "Neighbors Know My Name", "Love Faces", "I invented Sex"...and the list goes on



So when exactly are we going to get something....NEW.

I mean yes he is very handsome...very nice to look at...but when will get some more in depth material. We get it already...you like to have sex, you think your pipe game is second to none but is that all you have to sing about?

For someone who hasn't had a platinum album yet he gets way more chances then some artists who have more...talent. No I'm not saying he can't sing, I'm not saying he doesn't tour well. What I'm saying is you have hundreds of artists who are signed that can blow and actually make music that touches not only your libido but your soul. The first time they don't jump out the gate with a hot selling single they get dropped. Yet we have heard this same kind of music from Trey Songz for three albums now and each album sells worst then the last. I think it's time for him to take a look at himself and realize he is not R Kelly, he is not Ne-Yo.

LET'S DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

Tina is still the best

The Queen of Rock & Roll will be 77 this year and she's still showing how "Black Don't Crack"


She graces the new cover of  German Vogue looking stunning. I think another possible tour is coming, she showed the world in 2009 that she can still sell out arenas grossing over $80 million in concert sales. Go on Tina...you look great.

Mariah Carey---Almost home

I say this with nothing but respect...but what is the fuss about.

I do like the video and it went directly with the movie this song was created for. She looks beautiful in the video but as far as the song...anybody could've sung this. There were no acrobatics that we are used to Mariah giving...there wasn't any of her famous whisper register. She sung the song full voice but again anybody could've sung this. Clearly this song isn't going to be her 19 number 1 but the song is cute for her and for the movie. The way the Mariah Carey Lamb have been going in about this song you would've thought it was "We Belong Together" all over again.

This was cute Mariah...now go back to Idol and keep Nicki in check :-)

Diamonds World Tour (Spoiler Alert)

Rihanna's Diamonds world tour kicked off in New York to I believe a sold out crowd. She has promised that this will be her most successful tour and so far she means business. Hiring up to 200 staff members to keep things flowing. However no amount of staff will help the problem we all know she has....LIVE SINGING. I most def respect Rihanna's work ethic, how easy she can put up number 1 hits and I respect that face she is gorgeous beyond belief. But as they say...you can't have everything.

The later shows of the tour have not fully sold out yet (Shocker) but she does have the hits to keep you entertained so go hit up livenation.com and grab them up.
